Postion: Troup Director and trainer  Plus registered competition team member

BIO: I am 27 and I founded the Angels in 2004. I have 2 children both in the team and am married to Andy but he would say I am married to the team. I have been twirling for a long time and when I tried to give up I lasted for about 6 months and started again. I love working with the angels and have very high hopes for this year.

I come from a long line of baton twirlers, my familey have run teams all over England and wales and i started training others at a young age, 4 of whom (including my daughter) represented the NBTA England Team at the European Championships in 2010. I would love for my daughter to take over my place but not for a few years yet ( shes only 9).

Postion: Director, general dogsbody

BIO: Andy is married to karen and is the father of Adelaide and Bryce. He has played a part in the team since it started in 2004. He drives us all to our competitions and carnivals and even danced in our xmas show. He is the voice of folkestone angels and He is also our musical mystro, mixing the majority of the music for our routines. Formally our competition director he stood down from the position to briefly take a role in the NBTA committee before work comitments got in the way of his national duties.

Name: Sally Paine

Postion: NBTA competition director and club Secretary

BIO: Sally became a part of the team early on when her oldest daughter joined. She was later elected as secutary at our first AGM in 2004 and has held the post ever since. She now has 2 daughters in the team who cost her a fortune and if Karen gets her way she will soon have 3. Sally also performed in the xmas show 2006.

Name: Maz Philpot

Postion: Examiner

BIO:  She held the posts of treasurer and trainer for 2 years but due to work commitments had to give up. She now supports the team when she can and comes in to mark grade exams.

Name: Sarah Whiteford smith

Postion: Training Assistant and treasurer

BIO: Sarah Joined the angels about a year ago as a member. She quickly picked up new skills and in her first year she attended carnivals, competitions, took her grade 1 and 2 and danced in the xmas show. She started to teach the young ones after being with us for about 6 months. She is a valuble member of our team

Name: Lesley Brazil

Postion: Committee member

BIO: Lesley's children joined the team late in 2004. she likes to support the team when ever she can and often ropes in her mother, sister and nice to help us out. Lesley had 3 children in the team but one left late last year. we hope to have another one of her children joining us soon as emily will soon be 2.
